I decided to be a Photographer because it was much faster than painting. Also I felt more control over my imagery and how it was seen. I still remember, the first magazine that made an impression on me as a kid the first magazine that made an impression on me was travel and leisure. Wanting to just eat and travel and making sure I could do that when I was older.
 

 
My high school years involved a lot of painting and experimenting with different mediums. Now I get to work withPhilip Lim, Zac Posen, great stylist, great models and dancers for my work. When I was young I learned a lot about being very independent. Growing up in Brooklyn helped and my mom let me fend for myself outside. Making my own things that I could not get building bikes and exploring the city by myself when I was really young. Also I was always surrounded by my parents working in the textile industry. I think I took it for granted but, I think it may have influenced what I am doing today.
 

 
I now live in Greenpoint Brooklyn where I was born and raised. My parents are only 2 blocks away. I don’t think I can leave this place… I will always end up here. We are almost done here. I love…to eat and share food with others. The joy of being able to experience a good meal with friends and family. If you could leave us with one thought, what would it be? Eat well. Be full. Do not be cynical.
