I decided to be a designer because clothes were always important to me, I have been making or at least trying to make them for as long as I could remember. As a child before I could sew I would tie pieces of fabric together to make the most interesting outfits. I studied painting at Pratt before I graduated from their fashion design department, and I experimented with music but it became more of an inspiration than a career.

I still remember, the first magazine that made an impression on me as a kid was National Geographic. My parents collected them and they had an entire bookshelf full. I would cut them up and make collages and dream of far away places.
My high school years involved a lot of watching films, I was such a snob about cinema that I would only date guys that had seen my favorites directed by the likes of Kubrick, Lynch, and Goddard.

Now I get to work with My husband Patrick who helps design our prints, he is trained as an architect but is becoming very good at designing clothes.
When I was young I went to a really preppy school outside of Philadelphia and was often teased for being a creative dresser. Apparently it did not bother me too much because I kept buying clothes from stores like Antique Boutique, Screaming Mimi’s, and Patricia Field on my NYC visits.
I now live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn
People think this of me I am magical character from a story that is now.

We are almost done here. I love: traveling I have a serious case of wanderlust.
If you could leave us with one thought, what would it be? The universe is filled with infinite possibility, do what you believe.
