LA duo Puro Instinct return with their new poolside summer jam ”Dream Lover” which premiered today on Pitckfork for free download and stream–PURE LOVE, for sure.
The track is sisters Piper and Skylar Kaplan’s first official release since last year’s mucho beloved debut Headbangers In Ecstasy (save last month’s collaboration with Strip Steve) and the song will be part of a yet-to-be-named EP due out this fall. ”Dream Lover” was recorded and produced by Alejandro Cohen (Dublab, Pharaohs) at his studio in Eagle Rock, CA and enlisted Daft Punk’s OB-X to record some of the synth parts.
Puro Instinct will also be playing a pair of late summer sets:
